In my private practice Darinee Turnwald: Holistic Therapy I see people at my clinic in the beautiful countryside of Katikati or offer online zooms sessions. I am a Certified Havening practitioner, an Interactive Drawing Therapist, Social Worker BSW(HONS), and qualified Naturopath.
My passion lies in working with rangatahi (youth) and tamariki (children) who have faced trauma such as family harm and sexual abuse. As well as those navigating mental health challenges like anxiety disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, PTSD and phobias. I also support individuals with anger issues, insomnia, low self-esteem, and parents struggling with the complexities of parenting.
As a therapist I love how Havening gently brings forth our inherent ability to heal and empower ourselves. I am compassionate, have a holistic outlook which naturally incorporates my 34 years of practicing Nichiren Buddhism into my work. I believe in my client’s innate wisdom and support you to find the courage to make the changes you need to be truly happy.
